Too bad that the Car Culture set is a Walmart Exclusive, it'll be hoarded if it reaches the shelves at all

Walmart managers have responded to me by telling me that this is an employee's perk if they take the best cars before they hit the shelves. What can you do?

Get a job there, work really hard. Get promoted to a higher position and fire the manager for the good of all collectors. Or shop somewhere else.

It is a Walmart perk for employees! Know an ebayer that has stocked the shelves at a local Walmart for 20 years now. I stopped bitching about him pulling anything and everything diecast that has $ attached to it because there are some of us out here who want the item for our collection, or in my case, for my son's since he's unable to accomplish for himself what I can do for him and his collection. Basic line is this, yes, any employee has 1st opportunity at any collectible toys coming into the store before the basic patron does, as long as he/she goes through the stock and purchases the item(s) while off the clock, like their lunch period, before they clock in or after they clock out, and don't do it while on the clock, like breaks. Now you know, the rest of the story (BTW, actually watched employees of a Target, Dollar Tree and Dollar General pull choice HWs out of cases, flats, shippers, sidekicks and what have you before public was allowed to go through them). Even know of a lady who orders, stocks the HWs at a Price Chopper who calls 2 different sellers of HWs as soon as they come in before anybody else gets to go through them. American capitalism at its best folks!

I stepped away from this hobby a couple years ago and didn't renew my redline club membership, seems as if the old cat and mouse game of hotwheels hasn't changed since being away! was a real big blow when mattel stopped online trading within the forums, I got to trade with a lot of people that cared about the hobby not the value and reselling!

Walmart waste of time employees get them all. Ebay dudes give them $ to put them aside. Don't bother.

It's not a perk for employees either. I used to work at WM a long time ago. I have gotten employees, including managers,  fired for exactly this behavior. When a manager tells you bs like that, ask for his district manager or corporate phone numbers.

I will be on the hunt for all of those in the month of December and after that. 👍

You would ruin a stranger's life over a toy car?

You better believe it. I have also gotten a manager fired from TRU because of his attitude towards "collectors". Bad business is bad business and i'm sure not going to reward them for it.

Only one new casting for Star Wars starships .

No offer of a re-release of the ARC 170 or Inquisitor tie for the masses that missed out .

Yas keep re-releasing the SAME ships which makes no sence

Im a big fan of this line yet of late im thinking yas dont care about the collectors only the greedy ebay sellers for some strange reason .

Another thing is this series started out in New Zealand stores then no new waves putting the price of a $12 ship into at least $30 online ,

Not in stores = outta sight outta mind = less sales .

Look after your fan base and they will stay loyal .

Is the Boulevard Mix a US only release? That is what a couple hobby dealers here in Canada are telling me, wondered if anyone can confirm. Thanks
