Hot Wheels™ id Mix 5 Brings New Competition!

By Allen Voivod

Physical cars you can play with and collect in both the real world and the virtual world, Hot Wheels™ id is taking the racing world by storm. Mix 5 is filled with new challengers to the speed records you established with the cars you've already got. Are you ready for the next level of competition?

As with previous mixes, Hot Wheels™ id collectible cars have limited production runs and will be packaged in a new, premium box configuration designed with collectors in mind. These packages allow you to remove the car, then put your car back in for storage.

Talk about slow information....These have been out since early December! Why bother with posting such old useless information. I bet pigeon messaging would arrive faster then what Mattel news gives it RLC members. I really don't know why I still bother even looking at this Web site.....

This is late. I have all of those already in my hotwheels collection. 👍

While you are at it, can you tell us the next 2 batches to be released?

The Mystery Machine was a terrible choice. It can't make it around any configuration that's more than a straight shot. Kids want toys that work--not stuff that looks pretty while sitting on a shelf.

Mystery Machine looks great, but you're right, it's awful around the track. It's so bad it's kept me from buying Highway Hauler that my son wants to bad. Despite that, the ID series is a bunch of fun. My 4yo and I enjoy playing them nearly every day.

The Hauler isn't terrible around the track but not fantastic through the loop. I was glad Target clearanced the big set out so we can enjoy it as a family.

Amazing photos! Pictures are great to have. Thank you for posting these pictures. I like pictures. Photos make collecting more interesting. Now I can look at these right next to their real life counterparts that I bought way before Christmas. I did not buy the Mystery Machine. Kind of wish I had, but, just a little bit. But, I am excited to see the pictures. I think I'll take some pictures, too. That way I can have more pictures. Without these pictures, we might not know what we may have missed on the shelf! Now we can hunt for THOSE, you know, somewhere else. Which may be part of the master plan, I am guessing. I hope these belated posts keep coming so that those who do not know where the list was posted will have the pictures to check their finds with. Pictures are a beautiful thing. I just hope they come, you know, a little bit more...snappy...
