this 29.99 is getting crazy, i'll keep buying as long as i can sell my extra to offset the cost, but as soon as i cant sell my extra at a profit i wont be buying many at the 29.99 price

Very nice looking model, but why is it $5 more than the red one we got last year?

I wish the doors closed all the way.  The gorgeous body lines don't match up.

@kim10 do you mean you'd like to see the rear wheels with a larger diameter -- I'm glad they are not, always looks like a toy that way

or did you want the rear wheels to stand out from the body more?

@TMS_1970 sure looks like that on the pics above, but on my red model from last year the doors close neatly. I assume they kept the same tooling so I'd be surprised if the doors don't close on this one.

@HWClams-- pricey, sure, but nowhere close to the prices on the secondary market. This model is listed for upwards of $95 on Ebay already. Maybe Mattel cutting into the profit margins of the "reseller"? 🙂

Though, with the recession looming, I'm betting prices will go down a bit soon.

Wider, not bigger diameter.  And that doesn't mean stick out from the body, it means more rubber under the rear.   They could have nailed it with this casting if they had given it the RWB rear wheel size.

Same here. Still waiting on my two cars too. On the Porsche it says 'back ordered'... WHY? When they should have it n stock when it opens for buying.

Ridiculous !!

I wish they would cut it down to 2 per household.

I am really on the fence for this one. It looks better than the red one, but if the doors can't even close in the promotional photos...

I guess I could just display it with the doors permanently open. Hmmm...

I agree.

Especially when they're so difficult to get off these bases.

These boxes are nice for displaying and keeping the dust off the cars, but I want my cars to be able to come off these bases easily.
