Bouncing Back: RLC Exclusive 1969 Chevy® C-10!

By Gary Barnum

With an amazing adjustable suspension feature, the 1969 Chevy® C-10 debuted earlier this year as an RLC Exclusive release. We couldn’t wait to put this tool to further use, so it pops back up with this exciting edition! Prepare to pick it up at HWC on 9/15/20.

Aside from the “Street” and “Slam’d” suspension options, you’ll find Real Riders five-spoke wheels on this release. Finished in Spectraflame aqua, the roof is white for that authentic ’60s pickup truck style. Check out more about this amazing casting in our Behind the Designs feature. And don’t let yourself down when the time comes to pick this up!

I'd love to see one of these beautiful trucks when it isn't "Slam'd".  Hopefully I can get one and turn that dial...

This truck has an adjustable chassis that allows you to adjust it to the height you want it to look like.  So, you don't have to have the "Slam'd" look.

BEYOND MY PRICE POINT !.....

You'll want to pay extra for a unique Hot Wheels build for the adjustable chassis height.

Lord willing, I plan to buy one this time around as I missed out buying the first one that was brown with a beige interior.  Thanks for offering another sell of this great idea.  You need to make an '83 Silverado that has an adjustable chassis, too.

I was lucky enough to get last years and am hoping to add to my collection with this years version.  I really like the colors on this one!

Above is my old C-10 that I bought in the late 70's.  We used it for years and gave it to our oldest son who still has it.  He got it as a two wheel drive, gas V-8, automatic and now it's 4 WD Diesel stick.  This pic is from 2013 and it still looks the same with it's original paint.  GREAT TRUCK!!

The original first look at this one had a color similar to the photo below.  Color is still cool but I really wanted the teal look as my neighbor had this truck in that color.

Too soon for repeat casting ... especially at that price. Would prefer open bed version without functionality.

At least they brought down the shipping and handling charges from $10 to $5. A few months ago, you would have to pay $40 buck just to get one car...

Yes, the hood is different too.  I never noticed that before.  All of these were great trucks and the only issue I ever had with my 69 was with the split drive line and carrier bearings going out from time to time.

They were pretty solid trucks as were most from that gen.
