buy any 20 (twenty) Hot Wheels® 1:64 basic cars from the 2016 to present assortment numbers 5785, C4982, or L2593,

You'll find the assortment number on the back, above the bar code.

I live out west, King Soopers everywhere, a Dollar General 1 block away. Does Mattel allow you to ask someone to go pick these cars up for you and mail everything to you? Don't want to be or cause a problem, just asking.

Not a problem.

Why don't you people just send money to someone that lives by a Kroger store to pick up what you want? Might be cheaper than the secondary market.

I kind of miss the usual exclusive colors. Like many of y'all I don't have any Kroger affiliate closer than 3 hours. I drove up to the Houston, TX area one year for exclusives, and the staff had no idea what I was talking about. I'm not complaining, they're just toys but toys that I use as my mental therapy.

It's interesting seeing how many are upset there is not store near them. I can't do the Dollar General car because the closest store is almost 4 hours away, yet I don't complain. Get over it people, can't make everyone happy.

For those of you who can’t get to a Kroger store, don’t sweat it too much. I have a store 5 miles away, with plenty of HWs.  But, with the last promo, I  found it about $5 cheaper to get one on eBay than to buy the cars, pay sales tax, mail all the cards, and pay shipping for the car. And, it was a lot easier. What are you really gonna do with 20 loose cars anyway. Could find kids to give em too I guess.

How about trying to set up these promos at Meijer stores. They seem to be all over.

Mattel, you need to make it to were we can buy cars from any major retailer and use those receipts. It would make things a whole lot easier. Or just sell the cases with the mail-in cars included through your website.

Kroger owns other chains as well, Marianas, food 4 less and I believe publix are all owned by Kroger. Last year there was a list of stores that were getting the shippers, hopefully that will be true again this year to limit our search...

Publix is not owned by Kroger. We have both here in GA and they are quite competitive. Publix HQ is in Florida, Kroger HQ is in Ohio.

That defeats the purpose of "store-specific" promotions.
